Our work focuses on the intersection of professional mindset and physical wellness. We provide an objective and trustworthy environment to facilitate professional and personal growth and development, increase self-awareness and body awareness to enhance individual and organizational performance and presence, mindset and capabilities.
What if your most valuable employee didn't show up for work tomorrow? How is wellness affecting work performance, attendance (illness or presence), and influencing retention?
With our unique background in psychology, wellness, executive development, and recruiting, we are able to have valuable, objective conversations about how work, life, and stress are impacting performance, attendance, and overall function.
Our executive check-in offers the objective space for assessment, feedback, professional development, and support to enhance executive function, operations, and organizational culture.
*We do not provide medical advice, but we do assist with finding resources for individuals who may have more on their plate personally and professionally than ideal.

Falkler Wellness & Advisory was created to partner with Senior Executives, Leaders and Organizations to provide external, objective support and professional development for executives and rising leaders.
Through advisory services, coaching and consulting, feedback is provided to promote professional development with the incorporation of personal health awareness to facilitate healthier leaders, teams and work environments.
With an increased focus on physical and preventive health, it is possible to increase and return quality of life, improve employee retention and decrease organizational healthcare spending and risk.
Our health is a continuum and with every choice, we are moving towards health or away from it. None of us are aging in reverse. Leaders and organizations are measured by their performance. How will individuals deliver their highest performance if they cannot fully function? How is health affecting first impressions, communication, sales & succession planning? Most individuals know what they "should be doing" but lack the time, energy, discipline, or resources to take action.
The time is NOW.
Karen Falkler, Owner of Falkler Wellness & Advisory, has more than a decade of professional experience in consulting, training, and healthcare. She is experienced in Executive Coaching, Executive Wellness Coaching, Leadership Development, Facilitation, Wellness Advisory, Executive Recruitment and Employee Retention.
She has a background in sport psychology, physical therapy and leadership development. This unique background allows her to identify ways that overall wellness and function are influencing individual and organizational trajectory.
She enjoys working with leadership to enhance engagement and skillsets, develop and retain talent, and enrich quality of life through personal growth, physical health awareness, and meaningful conversation.
She believes that leaders are responsible for setting the example for true wellness change. With an increased focus on physical and preventive health, it is possible to increase quality of life, decrease organizational and individual healthcare spending, while concurrently creating a healthier tomorrow for individuals and organizations.
Karen resides in Northern Maryland. She enjoys her work, playing outside with her daughters, traveling, lifting weights and trail running.
"I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Karen who first introduced me to the power of positivity, wellness, energy, and intertwining personal and professional growth. Karen has a unique knack for creating an environment of trust, accountability, and goal development.
One of the many strengths that Karen possess is her authentic approach to connecting with her clients. Karen took the time to listen and learn about my personal and professional goals. She helped develop a strategic plan and instilled a pragmatic approach to achieving these goals."

"Thanks SO much for coming, presenting, and bringing joy! I really loved your presentation and am so happy we got to meet! Our staff LOVED meeting YOU! Looking forward to seeing you again in a few weeks! As I felt stress in my shoulders today, I thought of what you spoke about and taught us all. ... your wellness workshop really touched everyone in the room.
Thank you for your flexibility, kindness, and care!"
Horizon Day Camp of Baltimore
"Karen genuinely cares and has helped me get back to the basics. She has provided objective feedback and insight about communication and team dynamics that I have been able to utilize in training for my teams as my organization continues to expand across the US."
"It's been great for my workday. I have a very standard desk job but love to run and be active. Karen's ability to look at the big picture and explain how the body is all connected opened my eyes to changes I never thought possible. The "mental awareness" of my core and posture is much improved and not only am I pain free, I now have techniques and knowledge to look at my body and mind holistically and understand how and why it reacts the way it does. I'm stronger and healthier because of it!!!"
"This has helped me to feel more empowered with my time personally and professionally. Through our work, I have seen the areas I like to focus on and the areas I try to step around. I have learned to reconnect with myself and my boundaries. That has truly helped me to allow my team to do the same."
- Coaching Client
"Good things take time. Before I worked with Karen, the expectation for everything was NOW. I have reassessed my strengths, talents and communication style and am better able to work cohesively with my colleagues and prioritize.
Things are more streamlined, meetings are more effective and deadlines are much less stressful. Grateful for the reset."

How much is a happy, healthy team worth to you?
How much is a minute of life worth or time with a loved one? Our wellness affects the length and quality of the time here, how we heal, risk for falls and loss of independence, risk for injury- physical and catastrophic.
How much are you currently spending on Benefits, Claims, Recruiting, Training, and Loss related to Productivity, Burnout & Stress & Morale?
What are your organizational costs for: chronic disease, medications, poor health, etc.
The ROI for Wellness Coaching varies from company to company.
Improving overall health and providing the support for yourself and your team to live and work better will likely reduce healthcare costs, improve employee productivity, decrease absenteeism, decrease risk for disability claims, as well as reduce risk for chronic conditions and catastrophic illness. It also demonstrates supportive company leadership.
ROI depends on current costs. Statistics on ROI vary from $0.00 to $6.00 per one dollar invested in wellness initiatives (SHRM, Harvard Business Review.) Many wellness programs are not utilized. Some companies report only 20-40% engagement.
We work with leaders to gain real, objective perspective on current barriers in order to create an actionable path forward and meaningful wellness change.
